CCEE San Diego is the San Diego Center for Economic Education at Cuyamaca College. This center was developed by the EconEd Foundation of San Diego and the California Council on Economic Education, after it was decided it would be best if there was a college campus as a base camp from which economic education information could be disseminated. The EconEd Foundation of San Diego continues to exist as the fundraising arm of the CCEE San Diego. This web site still includes all of the great information, resources, and links found on the older site.

The annual TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) Conference brings a wide range of speakers to its stage each year. Without a doubt, a number of the them speak on current economic issues. For this month's feature resource, we bring you Alex Tabarrok on how ideas trump crises. Alex writes about economics at his blog, Marginal Revolution.
Congratulations to our own Tony Zambelli. He was recently awarded the Roy Erickson Civic Educator of the Year by the Greater San Diego Council for Social Studies. Globalization and the Economic Crisis
This month's feature resource comes from the Choices Program out of Brown University. In this one-day lesson plan, students explore a series of political cartoons and consider the relationship between globalization and the economic crisis. To access and download this FREE lesson, you need to create an account. While most of the resources from the Choices Program cost around $20, they comprehensively cover the topics and are well worth the cost.
